Project Description
ORCA is the implementation of an electronic medical record throughout the UW Medicine inpatient and
ambulatory areas, including Harborview Medical Center (HMC), University of Washington Medical Center
(UWMC) and the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA). Using proprietary vendor software from Cerner
Corporation, it will deploy a system of clinical results reporting, documentation by all clinical disciplines,
physician orders management, clinical rules, health information management, and clinical data repository
needs
